WHAT IS PPEC?
PPEC stands for Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care. Creative PPEC offers a stimulating, social and nurturing alternative health care choice to families and children with medically-complex conditions to receive continual medical care in a non residential setting.
We offers services that meet the recipients’ physiological, developmental, nutritional, and social needs. These services provide a less restrictive, cost effective alternative to expensive hospitalization. It reduces the isolation and/or home bound programs, helping each child to achieve the highest quality of life possible.
Creative PPEC is licensed by AHCA, and meet all local, county and state regulations. We provide up to 12 hours per day of nursing care Monday to Saturday for children from birth to 21 years old. Individual care is provided by qualified professional multi-lingual and multi-cultural pediatric nurses and aides working together onsite with Physical, Occupational, Speech, ABA and Respiratory therapists.

We proudly offer services for the medically fragile children that create a solution for Miami-Dade and Broward County families. This includes the following:
Creative PPEC has a team of skilled nurses who fully understand the needs of your child. These pediatric healthcare professionals are dedicated to keeping your child safe and ensuring all their medical needs are being met on a daily basis.
Our Physical Therapists will provide your child with sessions designed to assist in improving their condition such as movement, strength, balance, gross motor skills, endurance and safety skills. All our Physical Therapists are licensed to practice in the State of Florida.
Our Occupational Therapist will design a treatment plan that will assist your child in improving skills such as upper extremity fine motor skills, self-help skills (dressing, hygiene, and self-feeding), social interaction, and emotional/behavioral regulation. All our Occupational Therapists are licensed to practice in the State of Florida.
Our Speech Therapist assist will assist your child develop functional communication. These certified therapist will treat speech, language, cognition, voice and swallowing disorders which may have resulted from an illness or injury. All our Speech Language Pathologists are licensed to practice in the State of Florida.
Our pediatric Respiratory Therapists provide care for your child in order to treat a variety of respiratory diseases and illnesses. All our Respiratory Therapists are licensed to practice in the State of Florida.
We coordinate door to door transportation. This service will be provided roundtrip from either home to PPEC or school to PPEC and back home. In certain cases transportation is coordinated for parent and child so they are able to keep all medical appointments. A trained medical transporter will escort your child at all times. This service is free to those who meet Medicaid eligibility.
Your child’s care is important to us. Our goal is to enhance communication and coordination with the child. We regularly hold interdisciplinary meetings in order to allow the care team to be proactive in their planning, communication, and intervention with children and families.
Improve communication between the physician, nurse, case manager and other team members involved in the patient’s care (e.g., speech, physical and occupational therapy; pharmacy).
Enhance communication and coordination with the patient and family, which improves their satisfaction with their care experience.
